Sexuality Education for Victorian Schools - Network Consultation
Event description
Across Victoria, community health agencies, academics, youthworkers, private providers and NGOs advocate for, enrich and support the delivery of inclusive school-based sexuality education from F to Year 10, and we would love to hear from you.
The Department of Education and Training Victoria have procured a team to update the existing Catching On primary and secondary sexuality education resources. [Separate consultations and focus groups will be conducted with school students, parents and teachers.]
There are 2 online sessions for the sector, and both will cover primary and secondary education. If you are interested please register for one of the following times:
Tuesday Oct 18: 11am – 12.30pm
Wednesday Oct 19: 2pm – 3.30pm
Once you register, we will send you a short survey to get some background information to help focus the consultation.
Numbers for these sessions are limited. Please note that if you haven't registered we can't let you 'in'. Like all good sexuality educators we are committed to hosting a safe space for our participants.
